INTRODUCTION

Shri Vama Shishu Vihar is situated at Mushakhedi in Indore and since 2004 has been dedicated to provide education to the "economically challenged" students of the area. Most of the students here come from the homes where both the parents are working to provide food and essentials for their families. The kinds from these homes are expected to help out and start earning as soon as they grow up or come to an age when they can help out in any way possible. Girls are expected to stay at home and help with chores which might include taking care of their younger siblings. For more than a decade we have tried to instil the ideology of "education helping in occupation".

The financial and social circumstances might not allow the children from continuing their education. We understood this well and when the school body was established a conscious decision was taken to keep the school fee to a minimum. Our goal is to educate every child and if in a case where the child is unable to come up with the school fee there are scholarships available thanks to the good samaritans associated with our school.

Our school's initiative and aim is to establish good social values in students and help them pave way to become good citizens and enable them to lead and create a fulfilling life for themselves and their families. The establishment and of management the school pushes toward this aim day after day, year after year and decade after decade.
